Milad-ul-Nabvi -12th Rabi'al awwal 1439 Hijri

Milad ul Nabvi – Birth of Prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon them) is on 12 Rabi’ al-awwal 1439.This is Approx Friday 1st or Saturday 2nd December 2017 . Depending on the Lunar date of your country;Saturday in Ajmer sharif.
Birth of Prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon them).
Prophet Muhammad ( Peace be upon them)    were born in Makkah in the year 570.  Since his father died before his birth and his mother died shortly thereafter, he was raised by his uncle who was from the respected tribe of Quraysh.  He was raised illiterate, unable to read or write, and remained so till his death.  His people, before his mission as a prophet, were ignorant of science and most of them were illiterate.  As he grew up, he became known to be truthful, honest, trustworthy, generous, and sincere.  He was so trustworthy that they called him the Trustworthy.1  Muhammad   was very religious, and he had long detested the decadence and idolatry of his society.
At the age of forty, Muhammad   received his first revelation from God through the Angel Gabriel.  The revelations continued for twenty-three years, and they are collectively known as the Quran.
As soon as he began to recite the Quran and to preach the truth which God had revealed to him, he and his small group of followers suffered persecution from unbelievers.  The persecution grew so fierce that in the year 622 God gave them the command to emigrate.  This emigration from Makkah to the city of Madinah, some 260 miles to the north, marks the beginning of the Muslim calendar.
After several years, Muhammad   and his followers were able to return to Makkah, where they forgave their enemies.  Before Muhammad   died, at the age of sixty-three, the greater part of the Arabian Peninsula had become Muslim, and within a century of his death, Islam had spread to Spain in the West and as far East as China.  Among the reasons for the rapid and peaceful spread of Islam was the truth and clarity of its doctrine.  Islam calls for faith in only one God, Who is the only one worthy of worship.
The Prophet Muhammad   was a perfect example of an honest, just, merciful, compassionate, truthful, and brave human being.  Though he was a man, he was far removed from all evil characteristics and strove solely for the sake of God and His reward in the Hereafter.  Moreover, in all his actions and dealings, he was ever mindful and fearful of God.
The Final Prophet – The Ultimate Mercy to the Universe
When the Month of Rabi-ul-Awwal arrives and the moon of this glorious month is sighted, then the gardens of Islam begin to bloom illuminating the fragrance of the most beautifully scented of flowers, the pearl of the creation of Allah, Muhammad Mustapha (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). It was in his Sadaqah that the entire universe came into existence.
It was for his welcome and to inform the creation of his coming that Almighty Allah sent various other Prophets on earth. If Almighty Allah had not sent the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam), He would not have revealed His Rububiyah. He is the Noor of Almighty Allah, Leader and Imam of the Ambiya and the Rasools. He is the hope of the distraught and the intercessor for the sinners. He is the Maalik of Jannah and the distributor of the Ne’mahs of Almighty Allah. He is the pride and honour of the skies and of the earth.
The Throne and the rest of the Universe rejoiced on the birth of Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). he Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is not only the perfect human, but he is the splendour of humanity. He is not only for a single nation, one city, one town or one country, but he is the mercy unto the worlds until Qiyamah. All the successes and benefits of the world are under the feet of Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). All the levels and path that lead to Almighty Allah find their basis from him. Thus, we should remember him in every breath, on every step and in every time.
A Muslim may make much Salaah, keep much Fasts and perform many Hajj as possible, but until he does not make his heart the city of love for the Beloved Habeeb (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam), his faith is incomplete. It is the Hadith that none is a true believer unless he loves the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) more than his life, family, parents and belongings.
Almighty Allah loves the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) so dearly that He swears an oath on the city, era and age of the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). With His Name Allah always mentions the name of the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam), showing his excellence. When Almighty Allah spoke of other Ambiya, He used their names, but for Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) he used his blessed titles. He loves him so dearly that He and His Angels send Salaams for His Habeeb (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam).
Love for the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is love for Almighty Allah. Without his obedience, there is no obedience to Almighty Allah. Not only should we send Peace and Salutations, but we should spread the teachings of his life and the Sunnah of Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). It is useless calling his name while being disobedient to him. If you love him you will be steadfast in your Salaah. You will never lie and commit sin. A true lover will never use anything that is Haraam. He will always serve the Servants of Allah and follow the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam).
He who loves him truly will not have pride and show disrespect to his elders. He will always be patient and grateful. The reason for this is that true love holds great tests and success is to accept the beloved totally. True love and respect for the Beloved Habeeb (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is the first condition of Imaan. May our lives and death be blessed with the love of our Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). Aameen.

The Holy Prophet (SAW) is Noor (Divine Light)
Some persons believe that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is only a human being and not Noor (light). They say so based on the reason that the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) had wives, had children, and he used to eat and drink. The Aqeeda of the Ahle Sunnat Wa Jama’at is that he is both Noor and a human being.
The being and existence of the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is even before that of human beings, but when he came into this world he came in the garb of a human being.
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) has stated, “The very first thing which Almighty Allah created was my Noor.” (Tafseer Roohul Bayaan; Madarijun Nabuiwat)
Once Sayyiduna Jaabir (radi Allahu anhu) asked the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) whom Allah Ta’ala created before anything else. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) stated: “O Jaabir! Verily, before the creation of anything else, Almighty Allah created the Noor of your Nabi from His Noor.” (Muwahibul Laduniya; Zirkani Shareef)
The Sahaba of the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) lived with him and observed him with his wives and children. They saw him eating, drinking, talking, etc. but still accepted him to be Noor.
We know that Sayyiduna Jibraeel (alaihis salaam) is made of Noor but when he used to appear before Sayyiduna Maryam (radi Allahu anha) he used to appear in the form of a human being. Allah Ta’ala states in the Holy Quran: “Thus he used to appear before her in the form of a healthy (well-built) man.” (Part 16, Ruku 5)
Sayyiduna Umar Farouk (radi Allahu anhu) narrates that once a person came before them. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) asked him if he knew who that person was, he replied: “Allah Ta’ala and His beloved Rasool (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) know better.” The Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said that it was Jibraeel (alaihis salaam). (Mishkaat; Bukhari Shareef) This Hadith proves that although the Sahaba referred to Sayyiduna Jibraeel (alaihis salaam) as a man since they saw him in the form of a human being, yet they accepted that he was in actual fact an Angel made from Noor. On many instances, he came in the form of Sahabi-e-Rasool named Sayyiduna Wahia Kalbi (radi Allahu anhu).
Sayyidah Halima Sa’adiya (radi Allahu anha), the wet-nurse of the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam), believed the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) to be Noor. She said that when she used to feed the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) milk in his infancy, she never felt the need for a light in her house. (Bayaanul Miladun Nabwi; Tafseer Mazhari).
Sayyidah Safiya (radi Allahu anha), the aunt of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) states that on the eve of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) she was present in his house. She said that she saw his Noor became more powerful than the light from the lamp. (Shawaahidun Nubuiwat)
Sayyiduna Ali Murtuza (radi Allahu anhu) said that when the Beloved of Allah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) spoke, Noor (light) used to be seen emerging from between his blessed teeth. (Muwahibul Laduniya; Anwaarul Muhammadiyah)
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu) states that when the beloved Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) smiled, then the walls use to glow with his Noor. (Muwahibul Laduniya; Shifa Shareef)
Sayyiduna Anas (radi Allahu anhu) states that the day in which the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) arrived in Madinatul Munawwarah, everything in Madinatul Munawwarah became bright through his Noor. (Tirmizi Shareef; Ibn Majah)
Ummul Mo’mineen, Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa (radi Allahu anha) is recorded to have said: “In total dark nights, I used to put the thread into a needle with the help of the Noor of the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam).” (Shara Shifa Bar Hashia Naseemur Riaz)
Sayyiduna Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa (alaihir rahmah) praises the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) in the following poem: “You are that Noor that the full Moon is brightened by your Noor and you are with your beauty and elegance a shining sun.” (Qasidaul Nu’maan)
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah Ansari (radi Allahu anhu) reports: I asked: “O Prophet of Allah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam), What did the Almighty Allah first create?” The Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) replied: “Allah first created my Noor (Light) of His Noor. This Noor travelled about according to the Will of Allah. At that time, there was no Heaven, Hell, Lawh (Divine Tablet), Pen, Earth, Skies, Sun, Moon, Jinn or Human Beings. When He decided to create, He divided that Noor into four parts. From one part He created the Pen, from the second, the Lawh and from the third, he made the Arsh (Throne).
“He divided the fourth part into a further four parts. From one, He created those Angels who carry the Arsh, from the second, the Kursi (Divine Chair) and from the third, He created the Angels.
“He again divided the remaining parts into a further four parts. From one, He created the skies. The second was used in creating the planets. From the third, Heaven and Earth were created.
“Once again, He divided the fourth part into a further four parts. From one part He created the power with which the believers see. From the second, He created in the hearts of the Believers the Noor of Marifat. From the third, He created in the tongues of the Believers, Noor, so that they can read the Kalima of Tauheed”. (Dalaa’il-un-Nubuwwat, Imam Baihaqi)
This astonishing Hadith Shareef proves that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is the life of this world and everything in it. When he is the life of this world, then everything that happens in it is clear to him and nothing is concealed from him. Who then can deny that he is not Noor (light)?

The Prophets and Messengers of Allah
“Messenger” or “Rasool” means he who brings the Message from Allah Ta’ala to the servants. A “Prophet” is he who received the “Wahi” (Revelation, a Message from Allah Ta’ala) for the guidance of mankind to show people the path to Allah Ta’ala. Many Prophets and many Angels are Messengers (Rasools).
All Prophets were male. There has never been a Jinn as a Prophet nor a female Prophet.
A Prophet becomes a Prophet who Allah Ta’ala wishes to be or whom Allah Ta’ala deems fit and a Prophet is born as a Prophet. A Prophet always stays away from sin even before becoming a Prophet. He is always attracted to good. There is never an aspect in a Prophet that people would hate. Those who believe that they can become a Prophet due to their effort are Kaafirs (non-believers) and those who believe that a Prophet’s prophecy can be taken away from him is also a Kaafir.
A Prophet’s walk, conduct, looks, features, nobility, family, ways, manner, talk and conversation are all good and free from faults. A Prophet’s intelligence is complete. A Prophet is the cleverest out of all people. The highest qualified doctor or philosopher’s intelligence does not reach even a millionth part of a Prophet’s intelligence.
A Prophet or an Angel are Ma’soom, meaning they are completely immune from sin and therefore cannot commit a sin.
Except for Prophets or Angels, if one believes that an Imaam or a Wali (Saint) are also Ma’soom, then they are misguided and have deviated from the right sect. Although there are Imaams and great Awliya who also do not commit sin, however, if sometimes they do commit a sin, then according to Shari’ah, this is not impossible.
Those who say that the Message of Allah Ta’ala is sometimes not passed on by a Prophet due to the fear of people or some other reason, is a Kaafir.
Prophets are better than all creations. In fact, they are better than those Angels who are Rasools.Regardless of how high a rank of a Wali is, he can never be equal to a Prophet. Those who show a non-Prophet to be better than a Prophet are Kaafirs.
The respect of a Prophet is compulsory on every individual. The slightest disrespect of any Prophet is Kufr (infidelity).
The Prophets are just as alive in their graves as they were when in this world. They eat, drink and go and come as they wish. They were given death for a moment and then were brought back to life so that Allah Ta’ala’s promise would be complete. Their lives are better than those of Martyrs (Shaheeds).
Allah Ta’ala gave the Prophets the Knowledge of the Unseen (I’lme-Ghaib). Every particle of the sky and earth are in front of the sight of all the Prophets. Therefore, this knowledge is “Given Knowledge” (Ataayi) and because Allah Ta’ala’s Knowledge is not given to Him by anyone and, therefore, is “Self Knowledge” (Zaati).
Any follower cannot, due to his will power, piety, worship, and willingness to follow Allah Ta’ala, be better than any Prophet.
Prophets are always involved in the remembrance of Allah Ta’ala even while they are sleeping or awake.
To talk about the mistakes that have been committed by the Prophets is Haraam (strictly forbidden), except for when praying about them in the Holy Quran and Hadith.
It is improper and disrespectful to write abbreviation after the name of Nabi Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) or of any Nabi or Rasool. We must write “sallal laahu alaihi wasallam” or “alaihis salaam” in full.
GRADES OF PROPHETS
Sayyiduna Adam (alaihis salaam) is the first human. He is also the first Prophet. All humans are his children. Allah Ta’ala made Sayyiduna Adam (alaihis salaam) without the need of a mother or father. He was made from soil. Allah Ta’ala made him His Caliph. Allah Ta’ala gave him the knowledge of all things and their names. Allah Ta’ala ordered the Angels to prostrate to Sayyiduna Adam (alaihis salaam). All the Angels performed the prostration except Shaitaan, who refused and was therefore evicted forever and became a Kaafir.
There has come many Prophets from Sayyiduna Adam (alaihis salaam) to our beloved Prophet Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) Sayyiduna Nooh (Noah), Sayyiduna Ibrahim (Abraham), Sayyiduna Moosa (Moses), Sayyiduna ‘Isa (Jesus) were Mesengers and also Prophets. Some other Prophets mentioned in the Holy Quran are: Sayyiduna Ismaeel, Sayyiduna Ishaaq, Sayyiduna Ya’qoob, Sayyiduna Yusuf, Sayyiduna Moosa, Sayyiduna Haroon, Sayyiduna Shu’aib, Sayyiduna Loot, Sayyiduna Hood, Sayyiduna Dawood, Sayyiduna Sulaiman, Sayyiduna Ayoob, Sayyiduna Ilyaas, Sayyiduna Yahya, Sayyiduna Yunus, Sayyiduna Idrees, Sayyiduna Zulkifl and Sayyiduna Saaleh (alaihimus salaam).
The status of the Prophets varies from one another. Some are more superior to others and the most superior of all the Nabis is Sayyiduna Muhammadur Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). The next most superior is Sayyiduna Ebrahim Khaleelullah (alaihis salaam), who is followed by Sayyiduna Moosa (alaihis salaam), and then Sayyiduna Esa (alaihis salaam), and Sayyiduna Nooh (alaihis salaam). These five Ambiya are known as “Mursaleen Ulul Azm”. They are also superior to all other Prophets.
Just as our leader Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is the greatest of all Prophets, (without comparison), his Ummah is the greatest of all the Ummats.
An exact number of how many Prophets that have been sent into this world is not known, but is said to be approximately 124 000.
The last of all Prophets and Messengers and the most virtuous of all creations is Allah Ta’ala’s most beloved – our Master, Sayyiduna Ahmad Mujtaba Muhammad Mustapha (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam).Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is Khaatimun Nabiyeen (The Final Prophet). After the beloved Prophet there has never been another Prophet nor will there be another Prophet. Whoever believes that there will be a Prophet or there has been a Prophet during our Prophet’s era or after or actually believes it as a possibility of someone obtaining Prophecy is a Kaafir.
OUR PROPHET’S UNIQUE VIRTUES AND EXCELLENCE
Allah Ta’ala created from His Noor (light) our beloved Prophet, before any other thing. The Prophets, the Angels, the Earth, Skies, Heavens, etc. have all been created from the ray of the Holy Prophet’s (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) light (Noor).
Except for Allah Ta’ala or being equal to Allah Ta’ala, our beloved Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) has been given whatever qualities there are, and whatever excellence exists, by Allah Ta’ala. In the whole universe, there cannot be anything or anyone with the same or greater quality than our beloved Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam).
The Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is the most virtuous creation and a delegate of Allah Ta’ala.
All the Ambiya (alaihimus salaam) were sent down to a particular group of people or a particular nation, but the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) was sent to the entire creation.
The Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is Mercy unto the humans, Angels, Jinns, animals and all the other creations of Almighty Allah and his special blessings is upon the human beings.
The Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is the Prophet of all the other Prophets and it is a necessity for everyone to follow the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam).
Allah Ta’ala has gifted the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) with the keys of all Allah Ta’ala’s treasures. All the world and religious gifts are provided and created by Allah Ta’ala and shared and given out by our beloved Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam).
Allah Ta’ala gave our Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) the unique gift of Me’raj, meaning that Allah Ta’ala called him above the skies (Arsh) and showed him His Vision with the Prophet’s (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) own eyes.
The Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam listened to Allah Ta’ala’s Voice and was given a tour of Jannah (Paradise), Jahannam (Hell), Arsh (above the skies) and Kursi (Throne).
On the Day of Judgement, our Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam will be the first to perform intercession, meaning that he will intercede for people in the Court of Allah Ta’ala.
There are many other qualities, too much to mention in this short section.
If someone treated any of the Holy Prophet’s (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) quotations or actions or deeds or situations as not worthy or looked upon them with degrading value, then they are Kaafirs.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MAUJIZA AND KARAAMAT
When a Prophet performs an action that is impossible to perform to prove his prophecy and it astonishes the Kaafirs, it is known as a “Maujiza”. For example, to bring back to life the dead or to split the moon into two with the movement of the finger.
If these types of actions are performed by a Wali (Friend of Allah Ta’ala), then it is known as a “Karaamat”.
If they are performed by an ordinary person or wrongdoer or a Kaafir, then it is known as “Istidraj”.
When people see a Maujiza, the truth of a Prophet is accepted. False liars who claim to be a Prophet cannot perform these types of miracles. Allah Ta’ala never gives the false claimants of Prophethood the power to perform Maujizas, otherwise one would not be able to distinguish the difference between the true Prophets and false claimants.

(30) It is also necessary to love all the Companions (Sahaba) of Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) declared, “After my demise, do not feel hostility towards my Sahaba. Loving them means loving me. He who hurts them also hurts me. He who hurts me also hurts Almighty Allah and those who hurt Almighty Allah are tormented by Him.”
(31) Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is aware of all the actions of his Ummah.
(32) He was granted Mee’raj by Almighty Allah.
THE PROPHET (SALLAL LAAHU ALAIHI WASALLAM) AND THE HOLY QURAN
Once Sayyidah Ayesha Siddiqah (radi Allahu anha) was asked concerning the character of the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) and she answered, “Do you not recite the Holy Quran”. When the people replied that they did, she then said: “His Blessed Character is the Holy Quran”.
1. The Holy Prophet’s (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) coming is the Holy Quran

Dimensions of Sufi Mysticism & relation of Sufi Master & Disciple

e461a2775519b2ca46113b79bb0c1389

Mysticism Defined

Sufi Mysticism is not a creed. It is a need taking an individual out of the weed.
Sufi Mysticism is a voyage of discovery within.
Sufi Mysticism is not a secret  in itself but the Divine Secret unveiled.
Sufi Mysticism is an experiment in human relations.
Sufi Mysticism is to rise above temptations and temporary phases of day to day life.
Mysticism, in fact, constitutes the heritage of humanity. People, professing different religions, following different customs, adhering to different mores, practising different norms and usages, speaking different languages, following different standards of life and living in different continents, countries and climes and constituting one big family, are its co-shares.
Truth is nobody’s monopoly.
Truth is indivisible,inalienable and absolute.
Sufi Mysticism is a mystery. This mystery has been unfolded by those knowing it-the mystics. There is no trifling with the secrets of mysticism.  It has been true and it is true. It has been grave and a little severe.  It defies incompetency.  It resents faithlessness. It laments mediocrity, vanity and pedantry.
It takes into the bosom those who are found fit for it. It accepts those who serve and stand and wait.
It takes into its confidence those who see, but do not speak. Those who speak divulge the secret.
It reveals its secrets to the competent, the deserving,to the truthful and the pure in heart and mind, expecting that the spiritual guide has so moulded them.

The Sufi Spiritual Guide

A spiritual Guide, then is something more than a friend, philosopher or guide to his spiritual disciple. He is his best well-wisher. He stands by him through thick and thin. Just as a potter moulds the clay and makes different articles, so in the same way the spiritual guide moulds the spiritual disciple, tunes his temperament and makes him a new person. As a potter feels proud of his pottery so does the spiritual guide of this spiritual disciple.
The Spiritual Guide gives the spiritual disciple his attention, his care, his good wishes and above all, his inner knowledge.

 The Spiritual Disciple

There cannot be a right without a corresponding duty. The Spiritual disciple likewise owes certain duties and obligations to his spiritual guide.  The spiritual disciple must have unflinching faith in his spiritual guide.. He should exhibit unflagging zeal for his spiritual advancement.
Love for his spiritual guide should be his watchword.
Surrender is his armour. Submission is his shield and unquestioned faith in his spiritual guide is his equipment with which he is sure to conquer the inner conflicts and the Battle of Doubt and diffidence.

Times of tension

In times of stress and strife and in periods of tension and in moments of anguish, when the world appears to be dark and none appears to come to his rescue, and when hope has forsaken him and when courage has deserted him,and when harmony has left him,and when temptations have seized him, and when evil machinations have caught hold of him,he has one sure remedy, one way and one thing to do at such a time of crisis.

The solution

It is to Visualize the face of his spiritual guide,to concentrate his attention upon it, to see nothing else but his face. That is a sure and simple panacea of all these evils.

The Fruit of Disobedience

The spiritual disciple who is critical, suspicious, disobedient, impertinent, Disloyal unfaithful to his spiritual guide, it seems, has signed his/her own death warrant.   He is Dead spiritually. He has ceased to live happily. He has invited trouble for himself which nobody can avert.
The Curse of the spiritual guide will follow him/her wherever he goes, in whatever he does and wherever he lives like the sword of Damocles it will hang over his head ever and anon.
The relationship, then is just like the two sides of a coin.

Life in Accordance to Sufi Mystics.

 CtVPjuOWEAAH3q2

According to the the Sufi’s a man living in darkness is not expected to know what is best for him.

Sometimes it so happens, what is apparently good is not useful; sometimes some trouble is a blessing in disguise; sometimes the handicaps, shortcomings, defects and limitations constitute a means of help given by God.
The peacock has embroidered, beautiful feathers, of which he feels proud, but his legs are ugly and deformed, which he feels  ashamed. But the beautiful feathers do not save the peacock from the clutches of the hunter, whereas his ugly feet do.
The Snake has a soft skin, but its bite is fatal; had its bite not been fatal, perhaps it would not have been killed.
The rose flower is famous of its elegance, delicacy and fragrance but it is not allowed to live long in the garden; grass, Thorny bushes, cypress and neem trees stay longer in the garden than the rose flower.

A Rose flower has his own distiny

In South Asian countries like India, Pakistan, there is a rose flower which is offered at the tomb of some sufi saints or to some deity in the temple; there is another rose flower which is in a garland to be offered to the bride or bridegroom, or some dignitary; there is the rose flower which is placed on a dead body; and there is the rose flower which blossoms forth, withers and falls in the garden, dried up and not looked after.

The Sufi Mystics have an eye on the phenomenal world

They assert that one should mould himself into a rose flower which gives smell, is fresh and is a source of joy to the recipient.
As in the animal and vegetable kingdoms, likewise in the human kingdom, an individual’s limitations become his best friends.
Poverty is abhorred, but honesty has its own benefit, it gives and individual an insight into the realities of life.
A person Steeped in honesty acquires, by and by; the gift of patience, and is endowed with the spirit of contentment. Riches, ordinarily considered as a  gift, sometimes become a source of trouble; they invite enmity, rivalry and jealousy from others.
There is no limit to greed, a person wants more and more, thus depriving himself of inner peace, the spirit of thankfulness, and contentment.

To a Mystic life and death denote different connotations

Assiduous pursuit of the ideal is Life; to fall from that ideal is Death.
There are victories or triumphs, and failures for a mystic also: to be positive in attitude is Triumph or Victory; to be negative constitutes failure.

Below are Sufi words of Wisdom:
Hope is treasure,
Despondency is Sin,
Forgiveness is power,
Revenge is putrefaction,
Generosity is alturusim
Miserliness is a curse,
Love is a give,
Hatred is Blasphemy,
Renunciation is Illumination.
Prejudice is regimentation,
Greed is mockery,
Lust is mischief,
Faith is shield,
Seclusion is safety,
Silence is a sword,
Jealousy is fire.
Desire is deception,
Enmity is foolishness,
Contentment is wealth,
Discrimination is wisdom,
Asceticism is perfection,
Affluence is distraction,
Service is humility,
Sharing is submission,
Imitation is Suicide,
Envy is motivation,
Perseverance is supplication,
Annihilation is nearness,
Poverty is self – abnegation,
Self- Surrender is bliss,
Thought is force,
Success and failure, to a mystic are relative terms,
Joy & sorry are varying moods,
Honour and Humiliation are the norms of society,
Plenty and Penury are the two tests,
Plain and Pleasure is a passing phase,
Influence and power are sleeping pills.

Shorthand is learnt by Practice; practice it if you will. I do not promise miracles but I am sure you will get stable results.

Happiness, Freedom & Free will in accordance to Sufi Mystics!

Capture12

There is one right which deserves to be respected.

It is  Bankruptcy of foresight that this right has not been given due recognition. Every country in the world should have incorporated it in its constitution; and that is a right to Happiness.
Utilitarianism has advocated the doctrine of the greatest good to the greatest number and moreover,”Greatest good” and happiness are not identical terms; pursuit of happiness to the mystic, is an inalienable right.
“Man does not live by bread alone” is an old adage; this means that something more is needed to make the man live instead of to merely exist.

Every right has corresponding duties.

An individual, then, should not pursue his own happiness but also allow others to do the same.
Pursuit  of happiness is not a selfish claim.  It is an inward urge, born of the ‘drive’ or ‘desire’ to be of use to others, and an epitaph of a life nobly lived, and dedicated to service, sharing and sacrifice.
Happiness, it should be remembered,is a state of mind; it comes from within; it is not a commodity which a person can buy in the market; it cannot be had for any amount of money.

A Sufi mystic knows the techniques and has learnt the secret of being happy.

A Sufi Mystic refuses to be influenced by external life and external circumstances; he “Stoops to conquer” happiness by his old devices and implements which he has been taught to rely upon.
A Sufi Mystic does not believe in modern tools for modern jobs; he adopts the same technique of hope, belief, faith, Contentment, self-surrender, and trust in God! These are the weapons which win for a Sufi Mystic and the battle of life, and which thus enable him to overcome the vicissitudes of life.
A Mystic holds firmly that he has attained puberty, i.e attained the age of majority, and he is in a position to exercise his discrimination freely and voluntarily.
Elimination of desires and widening the scope of dis-interested service, which asks nothing and gives every-thing, confers upon him peace and tranquillity, leading to the fountain of happiness.

A man in chains cannot be said to be Happy

The Mystics treat the people of the world as enchained and enslaved.  There are no iron bars it is true, and there are no stony walls it is equally true; outward things have very little to do with enslaving a person.
Slavery consists  in obeying the will of another, which is opposed to the will of the individual.
An individual’s desire constitute his chains, and his self-interest and his expectations from the people put him in servile slavery.
To be engrossed in the world means and implies to be living in the prison-house of the world.
The Sufi mystics have freed them-self from the shackles and burdens of slavery by expecting nothing from the people of the world.  TO GIVE is their code of conduct; TO TAKE is the way of the people of this world.
A person who takes, naturally feels indebted to the person who gives; this means he owes a debt to him. A person, who is in debt, is not a free man; a man, who is not free, is not a happy man.

A Sufi Mystic has nothing to do with the people.

People look to him to provide satisfaction to their inward needs, and beseech him to respond to their rising expectations. The mystic,on his part, does not disappoint them; he cuts across caste and class lines and helps them.
The Mystics hold that people of the world are not to be relied upon; they are fickle-minded, egotistic, selfish and self-interested; they want to serve both God and Mammon.
