  Hazrat Khwaja Hamid-ud-din Nagauri (R.A), are one of the prominent Khalifa of Hazrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz (R.A). If  you see the pics properly one tree is covering the entire Mazaar (Shrine) this is a live karamat of Hazrat.

  Hazrat Sahib’s title is Sultan-ut-Tarekeen,whereas his nickname is Abu Muhammad. He is among the descendants of Hazrat Said bin Zaid, a companion of the Holy Prophet Muhammad. He was a perfect Dervesh, possessing high spiritual attainment, and a spiritual guide of high rank . He used to live in the village named Sawali(Which is now called Phagli).

   He lived up to the age of 104 years and died in the years 672 A.H. Hazrat sahib lie buried in Nagore in RAJASTHAN,INDIA

Their annual Urs is celebrated on 29th,Rabi’al-Thani/Rabi ul Akhir.

The Mystic Law and practice of self-surrender

Suffering is also a phase of life. It is of great consequence. A mystic treats suffering as a gift, coming from the Friend. As we prize a gift given by someone, likewise, the mystics prize suffering.

To be patient and preserving in suffering is the crucial test of the character of a person. When God Almighty, in His Discretion, wants to test us, He sends suffering.

To Suffer is the human lot, but to bear it with fortitude, patience, and courage requires the high watermark of human endeavour and perseverance.

Our faith is not a lamp meant to shine in dark nights only. When the lamp of life is shining, and it has dispelled darkness, even then, we require guidance and sympathy and faith.

Religion is a pick-me-up in times of stress and storm. It gives courage and extends sympathy to those besieged by suffering and sorrow. Every religion has words of comfort. Every religion. has in it, the heart-beat of Divine love.

When those whom we love, leave us permanently, we, of course, feel the pangs of separation. No doubt it is sad, but, there is not way out. It has been rightly said, that “what cannot be cured must be endured”.

Death is inevitable. It must come to everyone sooner or later. And,

“Life, like a dome of many colour glass,

stains the white radiance of eternity,

Until Death tramples it to fragments.”


Life is brief and transitory. The sea of life, is sometimes boisterous and sometimes, calm. When it is boisterous, we should wait, watch and show patience, and when it is calm, we should show utmost gratitude to God Almighty. It has been said, that by offering thanks, the blessings are increased. It is perfectly true. It is like living in a success atmosphere. You must know that like attracts like. Likewise, success attracts success.

Life is a complex phenomenon. It has been said:

“Tomorrow and tomorrow, and tomorrow Creeps in this petty pace from day to day

To the last syllable of recorded time;

And all our yesterdays have lighted fools

The way to dusty death; out, out, brief candle

life’s but a walking shadow; a poor player

That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,

and then is heard no more; it is a tale

Told by and idiot, full of sound and fury signifying nothing.”

In mystic terminology, to be blessed, means in implies to be happy, prosperous and favoured.

It is no doubt true, that, every suffering or unpleasant thing that God Almighty and Merciful, permits to come, and cloud our life, has blessing within it. It is wrapped in it, but, we are not inquisitive to know it or eager to find it.

The things, which we do not like, and which we take as discouragement are, indeed, conductive to higher goals, better ideals and noble attainments.

It is not enough,that we should sit with people in their hour of trial and suffering, and merely sympathize with them. But, what we should do, in fact, is that, we should strengthen those in suffering, so that they may bear and endure their suffering with patience and courage, and with simile on their lips. The best service, that we can render them is, that we should try to so fortify them against discouragement and so strengthen them, as to enable them to score a victory over their sorrow and suffering.

We should be ever conscious of God’s unchanging love. We must believe in the promise of God, and have full and unflinching faith, that whatever happens is for our good. If we believe thus, it will give us comfort and peace.

It is true that,

“Blessed are they that mourn”

And then there is the promise:

“Blessed are they that mourn; for they shall be comforted.”

To bear sorrow and suffering without grudge or murmur lends beauty to character and conduct. The fragments of beauty in character and conduct, apparent and real, or hidden and unnoticed, mould and change life in a way and to and extent, that is beyond human under standing. It has its own reward. And, what is the reward? The reward is transfigured life, having within it, balance, judgement, insight, and above all indifference to pain and pleasure. Thus, what is good, true, lovely, beautiful and worthy has come to occupy a place in life.

Sorrow and Suffering are not the things to be dreaded. They, in fact, should be treated as friends. They convey a message- a Divine message.

The dark clouds bring us rain. Rain, in its turn, makes flowers fragrant. Grass is made green. Rain is also useful for crops. Likewise, it can be said of sorrow and suffering that they make the heart sympathetic. They tune the heart, chasten the emotions, purify the sentiments, and thus, give a new colour and content to personality.

With the approach of night, we think, that the time for rest, after the day’s arduous labour, has come at last. But, night,not only furnishes the time for rest, but also enables us to see the shining starts above. The darkness of night brings with it thus the glory of the stars.

Suffering, likewise, has its won reward. It gives us courage, faith, energy, skill and above all, love.

To forget pain, the sorrow and suffering which one may have found himself to be entrenched and wrapped in. It is important that the patient is in the midst of so much love, affection, regard and attention.

The mystics have made experiments with sorrow and suffering. Their experience is that the more one concentrates on sorrow and suffering, the more they become painful. It is better then, to ignore them as far as possible. They should be checked and controlled and should, in no way, be allowed to cast their pernicious shadow upon human life.

Another very potent, plausible and powerful antidote to sorrow and suffering,that the mystics have discovered, is to entrust their affairs to God. They say, let us place all our problems at the feet of the Master, and He shall look after them.

The mystics have learnt not to have any will of their own. Not “I” but “Thou” is their dictum.

They say, that when a drop of water is thrown into a river, the drop loses its identity. The drop becomes a part of the river. It is difficult to distinguish the drop.

The mystic practice, or we may say, the mystic technique of self-surrender, gives force, vigour and stamina to their life. Once they surrender themselves to God, they have ceased to have any will of their own.

The mystics want to die before the actual physical death. Just as a dead body is in the hands of those living, likewise, the mystics treat themselves to be at the mercy of God.

The spirit of self-surrender has taught them to accept everything with a smile. This makes them indifferent towards pain and pleasure, joy and sorrow, poverty and plenty, abuse and praise.

They have ceased to depend upon external life, external means and outward circumstances. They derive strength from within.

The spirit of self-surrender leads them, and guides them to Self-Realization.

Self-Surrender requires Self -Discipline, Self-Control, and Self-Abnegation.

The “I” has ceased to exist. Its place has been taken by “Thou”.

Our lust, avarice and greed, and our very selfishness and desire for acquisition and possession, are the things which keep alive and sustain materialism. They give it fillip, impetus, force and vigour.

Self-Surrender implies, that one has freed himself, and that lust and desire have ceased to be a motive force for him. He is no more kept restless by lust and search for worldly triumphs and successes, and neither is he the least moved by failures.

To rise above success and failure, pain and pleasure, sorrow and suffering constitute what may be termed as the spirit of self-surrender.

Suffering comes in various guises, shapes and forms. There is a lot of bitterness, discord and disruption in everyday life, resulting in a change of normal life and normal behaviour.

Physical suffering can be cured by a surgeon, or a physician, but mental suffering must be cured by the person himself.

Bereavement in the family, bad family life, loss of hope, anxiety, worry, imaginary or real apprehensions and fears, prolonged litigation, meagre resources and maintenance of a large family, taking intoxicating drugs, frequent ailments, etc.., sap the energy and make the resistance-power weak. When the resistance-power is at a low ebb, there is every possibility of a person falling prey to some dreadful disease.

International, national, local and social problems, instead of being discussed, and debated, rationally, and logically, in a clam and peaceful atmosphere, are made a pretext for rousing public sentiments and opinion, and taking the issue to the streets.

Let us conserve energy for constructive work. Let us treat all the happenings, events, accidents and incidents as being directed by an all-powerful Unseen Hand. We should treat them as inevitable. As they are inevitable, there is no way of escape.

“There is Divinity that shapes our end.”

The way to overcome difficulties, hardships, sorrow and suffering, is to be content with what happens and to exhibit the spirit of patience and perseverance in such difficult times. It is better to desire solace and comfort from moral principles and religious injuctions.

Let us avoid, as far as possible, those conditions and things, which bring sorrow and suffering to our doorstep.

The pursuit of greed and avarice results, ultimately, in the loss of energy.

There is a French proverb, which says:

“When all other sins are old, avarice is still young.”

We need not be afraid of affliction, Burton holds that,

“As threshing separates the wheat from the chaff, so does affliction purify virtue.”

Guthrie welcomes affliction and troubles in another sense. He says:

“As in nature, as in art, so in grace: it is rough treatment that gives souls, as well as stones, their lustre. The more the diamond is cut, the brighter it sparkles; and in what seems hard dealing, there God has no end in view but to perfect his people.”

The mystics have shown a marvellous spirit of Self-Surrender in times of difficulty. Instead of resisting the trouble, they have accepted it as coming from the Friend.

Self-Surrender is indeed a powerful weapon, which they mystics use to combat the unpleasant things in life.

Self-Surrender implies a perfect union and oneness with God Almighty. Self-Surrender implies loss of ego. It results in the happy blending of action and inaction.Non-attachment to action or desire results in indifference, making them neither accepted nor rejected.

Self-Surrender implies, that a person has ceased to exert his will, and that he has entrusted himself to the Will of God.

Thus it is, that the replacement of human will by the Divine Will, or we may say, the substitution of the Divine Will for the human will, is what is termed as Self-surrender.

Self-Surrender brings about a noticeable change in human life. Tension and inward conflicts are replaced by harmony and peace. There is light, joy and love in life. The soul has won liberty from the very many limitations. The liberated soul now shows and exhibits consent and will.

Self-Surrender confers grace, bestows enlightenment and gives strength. Once a person takes to Self-Surrender, he draws and attracts to himself everything that is merited, decided and sealed.

Strange to say that, when we are ill, we surrender ourselves to the physician, and when we undergo an operation, we surrender ourselves to the surgeon. When we are involved in litigation, we surrender ourselves to the lawyer, who acts and pleads on our behalf in a court of law .

In other words, in crucial moments of our life, we voluntarily, surrender ourselves to a person, whom we think and suppose to be an expert.

We are content to be guided by his expert advice.But how strange is it, that we hesitate to surrender ourselves to our Creator, who is All-Knowing, All-Powerful and All-Wise.

Indifference towards the world and its problems in the keynote of the life of a mystic.

It has been very aptly said:

“I have not loved the world, nor the world me I have not flattered its rank breath, nor bowed To its idolatries a patient knee, Nor coined my cheek to smile, nor cried aloud In worship of an echo; in the crowd ,They could not deem me one of such; I stood Among them, but not of them.”

It is better, then that we should lead a chaste life. Let us pay due attention to the advice or suggestion, which says:

“Nor love thy life, nor hate; but what thou livest, Live well; how long or short permit to heaven”.

We should not aspire for more.It is enough, if the pattern of our life exhibits Faith, Hope Contentment and Courage, and is fortified by the spirit of Self-Surrender.

Ekisvi Sharif : 21st Rabi’al Awwal 1440 Hijri

On every twenty-first of the Lunar Month in Ajmer Sharif, at the Shrine of Khwaja Gharib Nawaz (R.A) a  highly inspiring programme of Fathia-e- Hazrat Imaam -E-Ali (Karam Allah-Wajhu) is celebrated at a specific demise at the shrine in Ajmer Sharif Dargah. This is called “Ekisvi Sharif” (Meaning 21th).


** Who was Hazrath (His Eminence) Ali (Karam Allah-Wajhu) ??? ***
Alī ibn Abī Ṭālib ; 13th Rajab, 22 or 16 BH – 21st Ramaḍān, 40 AH; was the cousin and son-in-law of the final prophet Muhammad (PBUT), ruling over the Islamic Caliphate from 656 to 661. A son of Abu Talib, Hazrath Ali (Karam Allah-Wajhu) was also the first male convert to Islam. Sufis consider Hazrat Ali (Karam Allah-Wajhu) the fourth and final of the Rashideen (Rightly guided Caliphs).


His father was Abu Talib and his mother was Fatima bint Asad, but he was raised in the household of Prophet Muhammad (PBUT), who themselves were raised by Abu Talib, Muhammad’s (PBUT) uncle, and Hazrat Ali (Karam Allah-Wajhu)’s father.
When prophet Muhammad (PBUT) reported receiving a divine revelation, Hazrat Ali (Karam Allah-Wajhu) was the first male to accept his message, dedicating his life to the cause of Islam.
Hazrat Ali (Karam Allah-Wajhu) migrated to Medina shortly after Prophet Muhammad (PBUT) did. Once there Prophet Muhammad (PBUT) told Hazrat Ali (Karam Allah-Wajhu) that God had ordered him to give his daughter, Fatimah, to Hazrat Ali (Karam Allah-Wajhu) in marriage.
Hazrat Ali (Karam Allah-Wajhu) was appointed Caliph by the Companions (the Sahaba) of Prophet Muhammad (PBUT) in Medina after the assassination of the third caliph, Uthman ibn Affan.

Urs of Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia (R.A) 2018

Sultan-ul-Mashaikh, Mehboob-e-Ilahi, Hazrat Shaikh Khwaja Syed Muhammad Nizamuddin Auliya (R.A) (1238 – 3 April 1325), also known as Hazrat Nizamuddin, was a famous Sufi saint of the Chishti Order in the Indian Subcontinent, an order that believed in drawing close to God through renunciation of the world and service to humanity. He is one of the great saints of the Chishti order in India.


“In Allah’s garden you gather roses,
Being drunk with divine mysteries:
Hazrat Mehboob-e-Elahi — the beloved of Allah,
O, how I long for the attar of your company”.


His predecessors were Fariduddin Ganjshakar, Bakhtiyar Kaki and Moinuddin Chishti. In that sequence, they constitute the initial spiritual chain or silsila of the Chisti order, widely prevalent in the Indian subcontinent.


Nizamuddin Auliya, like his predecessors, stressed love as a means of realising God. For him his love of God implied a love of humanity. His vision of the world was marked by a highly evolved sense of secularity and kindness. It is claimed by the 14th century historiographer Ziauddin Barani that his influence on the Muslims of Delhi was such that a paradigm shift was effected in their outlook towards worldly matters. People began to be inclined towards mysticism and prayers and remaining aloof from the world.


Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia (d. 1325 A.D.) represents in many ways the pinnacle of the Chishti Order of the Sufis. Hazrat Baba Farid, his spiritual guide, said to him on appointing him as his successor: “Be like a big tree, so that Allah’s creation, the human beings in their vast multitudes, may find rest and solace under your shadow.” This partly explains why he admitted so many (according to some, including Barani, too many) men into the Chishti order as his disciples. Another reason has been clearly formulated in this way: “History, nonetheless, bears out the wisdom of his open-ended policy . . . To far-flung areas of Uttar Pradesh, Rajastan, Gujarat, Bihar, Bengal and the Deccan, Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia sent able disciples well versed in the Chishti practices, yet sensitive to the needs of the local populace.”

With regard to the Sufi path, Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia taught the following: “For a dervish, three things are necessary. They all begin with an ‘ain’ (an Arabic letter), i.e., Ishq (love), Aql (intelligence) and Ilm (knowledge). Let us discuss these three qualities one by one.
Sufism is, in its essence, the way of love. Love is considered to be a spiritual alchemy by means of which the baser qualities of a human being are transformed into higher ones. In this respect it suffices to say that Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia is known as Mehboob-e-Elahi, the beloved of Allah. Of course the spiritual status of a beloved is much higher than that of a lover.
‘Intelligence’ changed in the hands of Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia into wisdom. His wisdom manifested itself in the shape of service to humanity. About him it has been said: “He was not a miracle-monger of the ordinary sort. He never flew in the air or walked on water with dry and motionless feet. His greatness was the greatness of a loving heart; his miracles were the miracles of a deeply sympathetic soul. He could read a man’s inner heart by a glance at his face and spoke the words that brought consolation to a tortured heart.”
About ‘knowledge’, the third faculty of a dervish, it can be said that Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia was one of the greatest scholars of his day.

He wanted to become a Qazi, but gave it all up in his pursuit of inner knowledge. After becoming a Mureed (spiritual disciple) of Hazrat Baba Farid, he lived in extremely poor circumstances. Seeing him, a former friend expressed great surprise as he remembered Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia as one who had begun a very promising career as a scholar. When Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia told all of this to Hazrat Baba Farid, his murshid (spiritual guide) suggested that he should recite the following couplet to his friend:


“You are not my fellow traveller.
Tread your own path
May you be affluent.
And I downtrodden”.


Then Hazrat Baba Farid ordered him to take a tray of food from the kitchen and carry it on his head to his friend. After doing so, he recited the verse. This deeply moved his friend.
One day, someone told a story of a certain saint who expired while slowly repeating the name of Allah. The eyes of Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia, who was listening to this story, filled with tears and he recited this quatrain:


I come running to the end of Your street,
Tears are washing and washing my cheek.
Union with You — what else can I seek?
My soul I surrender as Your name I repeat.


Death
After an illness of about four months he expired in 725 A.H. (1324 A.D.) and realized seclusion (i.e., was buried) in Ghiyaspur, New Delhi- India) The locality is named after him today.

URS of Hazrat Khwaja Abu Ahmed Abdal Al-Chishty (RA) 1440 Hijri.

Whoever remembered Hazrat from the depths of his heart, Became absorbed in the sea of love; He began reciting then, this verse with zeal.

“Salutations to you, Oh Commander of Chishtiya Khwaja Abu Ahmad-king of the both worlds”.

Khwaja Abu Ahmad Abdal Chishti r.a was a great saint and the successor Abu Ishaq, the founder of the Chishtiya Silsilah. They were acknowledge by his contemporaries as an abdal, hence his title ‘Qutab al-Abdal'( The axis of the substitute-saints).
He was the son of Sultan Faransafah, and his lineage is linked to Imam Hussain r.a. His aunt was a saintly woman, and was devoted to Hazrat Khwaja Abu Ishaq r.a. Occasionally the master of the Chishtiya silsilah would partake of meals with her husband at her house. One day he remarked that in the house of her brother (sultan), a very pious child was to be born; he instructed her to go there and ensure that the queen ate no doubtful food during her pregnancy. It was this level of care, even before his birth that contributed greatly to the future wilayah of Khwaja Abu Ahmad r.a.
After his birth, his aunt took it upon herself to raise him, with the result that he used to live more with her than with his parents. Whenever Khwaja Abu Ishaq used to visit the house, he used to remark that he smelt the fragrance of sainthood. At the age of seven, he began to attend the Sama gatherings of his future murshid.
Seeing this, Khwaja Abu Ishaq said, “Only lovers should attend Sama, and you are indeed worthy!” The barakah (Blessings) of these blessed words removed all the veils from his eyes, so that nothing in heaven or earth was hidden from his vision. At this young age, whatever he prophesied came to pass, and the great people of his time showed tremendous respect towards him.
When Hazrat Abu Ahmad was twenty, he accompanied his father on a hunting expedition, only to find himself separated from the king’s party. It happened that he wandered onto a barren plain in front of a mountain, upon which he saw forty Auliya Allah standing in the presence of Khwaja Abu Ishaq r.a out of respect. Thus was the greatness of the master of Chisht emphatically revealed to him.
Immediately he alighted from his horse and kissed his feet. Then he put off his princely garb and donned the khirqah (woolen robe) of the Sufis.
The family of the sultan was distraught at this turn of events, and the king himself came to cajole, plead and eventually threaten his son to return; to no avail: Abu Ahmad Adbal r.a remained with his murshid and became a Sufi of the first spiritual rank. He used to remain engrossed in dhikr, regularly performing the continuous fast after the fashion of his murshid.
It is also reported that he used to complete the recitation of the Quran twice everyday. For seven continuous years, he never missed tahajud , and it was his practice that afterwards he used to make the following dua.

“Oh AllahQ Have mercy on your servants! Forgive the sinners from the Community of Rasulullah swm.” Thereafter, a voice used to say:” Oh Abu Ahmad! We have accepted your dua and through it have forgiven ten thousand sinners. On the Day of Qiyamah , they will enter Paradise with you.”

It happened that his father has a large winery wherein he used to store all his liquor. One day Khwaja Abu Ahmad r.a returned to this place and destroyed all the wine-stocks. When the sultan saw this, he became enraged and hurled a large rock at the saint. However, by the power of Allah it was suspended in the mid-air, injuring no-one. Awed by this miracle, the sultan immediately asked forgiveness from Allah and became a disciple of his son.
Once he was founded by a group of infidels whose hatred of Muslims was so intense that they used to burn alive any that they captured. When they taunted him as to his fate, he replied serenely,

” The Holy Prophet r.a has said that fire cannot burn one in whose heart there is true faith.”

To prove his point, as he approached the blaze, he willingly laid down his musallah (Prayer Mat)  and calmly entered the fire. When the Kuffar saw that the fire did not burn the great saint, they immediately repented and converted en masses.
Khwaja Abu Ahmad Abdal Chishty is regarded as a patriarch of the Chishtiya order. He attained Unity and lies buried in the village of Chisht, present day Afghanistan.

TAJ-UL-AWLIYA, KHWAJA-E-KHWAJEGAAN, HAZRAT KHWAJA ABU IS`HAAQ CHISHTY SHAAMI (RADI ALLAHU ANHU)
The Crown of the Awliya, Hazrat Khwaja Abu Is`haaq Chishty (Radi Allahu Anhu) was a great sufi mystic of his era and is also the founder of the Chistiya Silsila. He was born in Syria, and spent his early life there. He lived in the era of the following Mashaa`ikh, who were his contemporaries, viz. Hazrat Abu Bakr Shibli (Radi Allahu Anhu), Khwaja Hasan bin Mansur Hallaj (Radi Allahu Anhu), Khwaja Abul Abbas ibn `Ata (Radi Allahu Anhu).
When he desired to become a mureed of Hazrat Khwaja Mamshaad Uloowe Dinwar (Radi Allahu Anhu)), he made Istighara for a period of fourty days. Thereafter, a voice from the unseen said to him,

“O Abu Is`haaq! Mamshaad Uloowe Dinwari is Our Friend. You should go and become his mureed and serve him dutifully.”

Upon receiving these instructions, he left Syria, and traveled to Baghdad, and humbled himself in the presence of the great Wali, Hazrat Mamshaah Uloowe Dinwari (Radi Allahu Anhu). Hazrat Khwaja Abu Is`haaq Chisti (Radi Allahu Anhu) kissed the feet of the Master, and made known to him his intentions of becoming his mureed, upon which Hazrat Mamshaad Uloowe Dinwari (Radi Allahu Anhu)) said to him:
“O Young Man! The way of the durwesh is very difficult, but whoever becomes a durwesh, he becomes a Friend of Allah and His Rasool (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam), and he become acquainted with the Divine Secrets of Allah.”
Abu Is`haaq Chisti (Radi Allahu Anhu) replied:

“This devotee has presented himself in your service. I have firm faith that with the Master’s blessings, I will become a perfect durwesh.”

Hazrat Mamshaad Dinwari (Radi Allahu Anhu) placed a cap on the head of Hazrat Khwaja Abu Is`haaq (Radi Allahu Anhu), and said to him:

“I have made dua to Allah that he make you a perfect durwesh.”

Thereafter, he was initiated as a mureed.
After becoming mureed, Hazrat Mamshaad Dinwari (Radi Allahu Anhu) requested to know his name. Hazrat Abu Is`haaq (Radi Allahu Anhu) said to him:
“I am Abu Is`haaq Shami (Syrian)!”

Hazrat Mamshaad Dinwari (Radi Allahu Anhu) said to him:
“From this day on, you will be known as Abu Is`haaq Chishty, and you should go to Chisht in Afghanistan, and spread the teachings of our Grand Masters, by which the people of that area will benefit, and whoever enters your Silsila until the Day of Qayamat will be called Chishty.”

He was amongst the Masha’ikh who loved the listening of Sama, and the ulema of his era did not oppose his mehfil-e-sama. He allowed the listening of sama under very strict conditions, and whoever attended his sama gatherings never turned towards sin ever again, and became conscious of Allah and pious. He never allowed the wealthy and wordly people into his sama gatherings, and if they entered without his permission, they were inflicted with some sickness.
Once, the country experienced a very severe drought. The ruler of the country approached Khwaja Abu Is`haaq (Radi Allahu Anhu) to make dua for rain. The Great Khwaja requested the ruler to arrange a mehfil-e-sama for him, and assured the ruler that, when in the mehfil-e-sama he (Khwaja Abu Is`haaq) begins to cry, it will rain. The ruler immediately arranged a mehfil-e-sama, but was instructed by Khwaja Abu Is`haaq (Radi Allahu Anhu) to leave the gathering. The ruler humbled himself, and pleaded with Khwaja Abu Is`haaq (Radi Allahu Anhu) to allow him to remain, but the Great Khwaja said to him:

“If you remain in this gathering, I would not receive that, which I am desirous of. You sitting in this gathering is not correct, so you should return to your home.”

The ruler returned to his home, and the mehfil-e-sama began. During the sama, Khwaja Abu Is`haaq (Radi Allahu Anhu) entered into a spiritual state and began crying, when miraculously, it began to rain, relieving the country of its severe drought.
Hazrat Khwaja Abu Is`haaq (Radi Allahu Anhu) said:

“Faqr is path of the Friends of Allah, and whichever durwesh followed this path, reached some elevated spiritual stage. All the Awliya and Ambiya followed this path, and always considered following it a very noble act.”

He also said:

“In hunger, one will find the secrets of Allah hidden. Whenever Allah wills to bestow upon a person some of His Secrets, He gives him the ability to stay hungry, because in this state, one has complete trust (tawakkul) in Allah.”

Once, Hazrat Mamshaad Dinwari (Radi Allahu Anhu) requested to one of his mureeds to summon Hazrat Abu Is`haaq (Radi Allahu Anhu) into his presence. When Hazrat Khwaja Abu Is`haaq (Radi Allahu Anhu) presented and humbled himself in front of his Murshid, Hazrat Mamshaad Dinwaari (Radi Allahu Anhu) said to him:

“O Abu Is`haaq! You are my son, and I have very high regard for you. I nominate you as my successor, and instruct you to spread my teachings and the name of our glorious Masha’ikh.”

He also advised him saying:

“Always conduct yourself well with the people, and love the poor more than the wealthy.”

When Khwaja Abu Is`haaq Chisti (Radi Allahu Anhu) wore the cloak of succession (khilafat), a voice from the unseen said:

“Congratulations upon you, O Abu Is`haaq, on your wearing of the blessed mantle.”

Khwaja Abu Is`haaq (Radi Allahu Anhu) began crying intensely. He was then asked the reason for his crying. He replied:
“All the veils have been removed from my eyes, and I see everything from the Arsh up to the Abyss, but my desire is not for the Arsh, but for the Lord of the Arsh.”
Before Khwaja Abu Is`haaq Chishty (Radi Allahu Anhu) passed away, he bestowed the khilafat of the Chistiya Silsila upon his beloved mureed, Khwaja Abu Ahmed Chisti (Radi Allahu Anhu). Hazrat Khwaja Abu Is`haaq (Radi Allahu Anhu) passed away on the 14 Rabi-ul-Akhir, and his mazaar is in Chisht in Afghanistan.

On every 11th day of the lunar month Fathia of Ghous Pak (R.A.) is performed at holy Asthana of Hazrat Khwaja Pak (R.A.) this is called Ghyarmee Sharif. Various religious rites are performed, recitation of Quran, Milaad Khwani, Khatme-Quadria, Langar (Feed to poor) etc.
This programme is observed in our home of Ajmer Sharif Khadim as well as at the Chilla of Piran-e-Piron a Hilly towards south of Dargah Khwaja Sahib.This month Ghyarmee sharif is on:

Lectures on life and teachings of Hazrat Ghaus-UL Azam Piran-e-Pir are delivered and tributes are paid to him at the Dargah of Ajmer Sharif.
Those who attend this function realise its solemnity and sanctity and also the benefit which they receive.
In the evening, in our homes of the Khadim, this Fathia is organised and prayers are offered for the well being of the devotees.

HAZRAT GHOUS-UL- AZAM PIRAN -E- PIR (R.A) are the highest member of the hierarchy of Sufi Saints around whom the world revolves.

Panjvi Sharif – Rabi’Al Thani 1440 Hijri -2018

This Fathia (Tribute / Commemoration prayer) of Hazrath Usman – E- Harooni (R.A) takes place on every Fifth of Lunar Month in Ajmer Sharif.
This event is known as “Panjvie Sharif”. (The 5th)

Hazrat Usman- e – Harooni (R.A) (526-617 AH) were an early day Sufi Saint, a successor to Haji Shareef Zandani (R.A), fourteenth link in the Sufi Silsilah of Chishti Order, and the Master Peer-o-Murshid of Khwaja Gharib Nawaz (R.A).

Urs of Hz Abu Yusuf Chishty (R.A)-1440 Hijri

This is approx on, Wednesday 12th December 2018 (Depending on Lunar date of your country).

Khwaja Abu Yusuf al-Chishty (R.A) was one of the great Persian saints of Afghanistan. The level of his marifah and love for Allah is rare even among the saints. Khwaja Abu Yusuf (R.A)  was the son of the sister of Khwaja Abu Mohammed (R.A). His mother was waliayah of great sanctity who was so engrossed in the remembrance of Allah that she refused to get married until instructed to do so by divine inspiration. As Khwaja Abu Mohammed (R.A) had no children, he took Khawaja Abu Yusuf into his own care and gave him all the benefits of his spiritual learning.
Once, seeking to test his uncle’s knowledge, he asked him a question. Hazrat Khwaja Abu Mohammed gave him fully seven hundred answers. Humbled by this oceanic knowledge, Khwaja Abu Yusuf became his murid. His murshid made him recite his name (Ya Abu Mohammed!) seven times looking towards the heavens and seven times facing the earth. Thereafter, he taught him the ism al-azam, upon which the mysteries of the Unseen became known to him.
Hazrath Abu Yusuf (R.A) used to spend his time in seclusion and mujahadahs , frequenting the mazars of great saints such as Hazrat Abu Ishaq Chishty (R.A). It is said that once he became slightly lax with his ibadah (Prayers) and out of penance did not drink water for twenty years.
He remained in the company of his murshid for a period of forty years before attaining Khilafat. His shaykh passed the ijaza with these words:

“Oh Nasir ad-Din (his title)! You have donned the garb of the ethics. You should consider yourself to be the lowliest of people, and see everybody else as greater than you. Always love and respect the poor and downtrodden; because for us, showing love for the poor is showing love for the King of Madinah, Rasulullah swm.”

As Khwaja Abu Yusuf’s fame spread, he received seekers of knowledge from all over the Islamic world. The muridin and khulafah of the order of Khwaja Junaid Baghdadi used to pay him regular visits, and join in him in gatherings of dhikr and Sama. One of his major khulaffah was the revered Hanbali jurist and Sufi Abdullah al-Ansari.
One day he came across some people building a masjid. However, they had miscalculated, with the result that the roof was shorter than the enclosed area and would not fit.
Such was Khwaja Abu Yusuf’s (R.A) karamah that he climbed the wall of the building, recited bismillah, and pulled the roof into place himself. Miraculously, it suddenly became the correct size. Khwaja Abu Yusuf Chishty attained unity in 459 AH, although opinions vary regarding the month of his wisal. His shrine is in the village of Chisht.

“Hazrat Abu Yousaf Chishty (RA),
My ship is caught in a storm,
And at every moment is violently rocked;
It is receiving not help at all!
Salutations to you, our own Abu Yusuf Chishty!
Do hasten my ship towards safety”.
